Ark Replica To Set Sail

The story of Noah in the Bible starts from Genesis chapter 6 onwards. You get a full breakdown of the world in Noah's days, the Ark construction and the great flood that covered the whole earth. Not forgetting the Nephilim, a human angel hybrid people who were very much anti-God. 

The Ark of Noah foundation have recreated the Ark based on the Biblical dimensions given in Genesis. The Foundation plans to set sail in this replica Ark and travel to Brazil in time for the Olympics.

Joseph Prince | The Real Noah Story

In this video Joseph Prince shares the real Noah story as told in the book of Genesis in the Bible.

At present film lovers and hollywood alike have been watching and discussing the current Bible inspired film Noah starring Russell Crowe. Although inspired by the Bible it has been re-written to tell a different story that strays away from the book in which it was inspired by. Based on the many reviews I have read and watched this film is said to have removed God from the story. Movie goers will not see God's love nor the rainbow at the end. The rainbow is a symbol of God's promise not to flood the whole entire earth again as told in Genesis 9.

And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. (Genesis 9:12-15)

 By all means go ahead and watch the current Noah film. A biblical film is not what you will see. Apparently it is more like Gladiators in the rain. If one day I see it myself I may do a follow up post. If you have seen the film please share your thoughts.
